Q: I am on the latest system version, is my device hackable?
A: Yes.

Q: How do I update RocketLauncher?
A: Download the latest version of RocketLauncher, and replace the previous file with the newest one.

Q: I heard about this thing I have to pay for (R4, DSTwo, Acekard2i, etc.), is that something I need?
A: Nope! RocketLauncher also supports retail NTR carts, so a flashcart is optional.

Q: What do I need to do this guide?
A: You need a retail cart, that says NTR on the label, or a flashcard that's DSi-compatible. You also need an SD Card.

Q: How risky is hacking my console?
A: Bricks are now basically impossible unless you follow the steps incorrectly.

Q: Can I run homebrew + emulators + custom apps with this?
A: Yep! The only thing you will not be able to do is access the DSi Shop, which is now shut down anyway.

Q: How do I coldboot/autoboot HiyaCFW?
A: You'll need a flashable flashcart, such as the Acekard 2i, and it should be flashed with an autoboot ROM for it, with the payload for RocketLauncher. A regular NTR cart won't work with coldboot/autoboot.

Q: Can I use this to play DSiWare from other regions?
A: Yes. RocketLauncher allows you to install titles from ANY reigon.

Q: Is it safe to update SysNAND?
A: You will lose the ability to use CFW booted from SD Card if you update, we recommend you do not.

Q: Where should I go for support?
A: For support, ask for help at Nintendo Homebrew on Discord.

Q: Can I do this with a 4GB (or smaller) SD card?
A: Of course you can!

Q: How do I move everything to a new SD card?
A: Just copy or cut all the files and paste them into the new SD card.

Q: What about system transfers?
A: System transfers (DSi to 3DS) are not recommended.

Q: Can I do this without a computer (e.g. an Android phone)?
A: You might need a PC for some of the applications required.

Q: Help! Something bad happened and now I cannot boot…
A: Please look at the troubleshooting guide.
